So today I wanted to switch from RL endlinks & swaybar back to OEM. I tried jacking up my car with a 2 ton floor jack by using the sides of the car. As I was jacking up the front, it was going up but the wheels never left the ground and I could hear creaking noises from the rear. When I jacked the rear up, the wheels went up with the car. Does anyone know what kind of problem(s) I have on my hands?

Creaking noises ae normal, its just the suspension decompressing. If you heard a cracking noise, such as body components failing then I would be worried.

You may have jacked in the wrong place, or not jacked high enough. Front wheels will definitely lift off the ground.

All this talk of jacking! :fap:

Yep, it's normal, keep going higher and the wheels will lift up.

Lol. Im pretty sure I jacked it up the same height as last time I worked on it.I'm kind of afraid to take it to the dealership to have it checked out because of aftermarket endlinks.

Try using a different part under the car to jack it up. I use that silver thingy thats behind the wheels and it goes up fine with some creaking.

There is a notched designated jack point in both front and rear. What are you using?

Obviously you can jack from other points depending on what you are working on but if you are just lifting and lowering for basic maintenance use the designated areas.

I'm using the notches on the side, near the tires behind the side skirts.
