All, I have my car in the shop being worked on due to a collision. They guys at the shop unhook the battery as a precautionary and after a week they hooked it back up and the car does not reconize the intellikey. What do we need to do? I called the nissan dealer and they say that it has nothing to do with unhooking the battery and they i now have a another problem. Will be bringing it out to them this saturday to hook it up to there computer.

Thanks for any heads up. While I am there I will have them do a transmission flush.

Have you tried BOTH i-keys first? If they both don't work, the problem is in the car. They are right, diconnecting the power will not wipe out the programming.

When you go in, be sure to bring BOTH keys with you in case they need to re-program.

If you get a Trans flush, make sure its a full 12.5 quart flush, and not just a drain 5 quarts and top off. Thats just mixing 5 quarts of clean new fluid and contaminating it with 8 quarts of dirty fluid. As far as the keys, they need to be reprogrammed to the vehicle. All of them, at the same time.
