Problem with headunit

Ok, I'm trying to hook up a new HU... Double Din In-Dash DVD (Legacy LDNTV65U).

It has no ILLUMINATION lead at all. Here's what I got;

Ignition/ACCMUTEPOWER ANTSAFETY TO GROUNDMEMORY 12v+GROUND 12v-

Of course it has the speaker wires as well as these;

FM Antenna inputTV Antenna inputA/V in/out (1 of each)Sanyo CDC Connector

I tried just hooking up the ACC, safety ground and 12v +/- to test the unit, but I got nothing. I was told by another user on the forums that I needed the illumination lead hooked up to get anything on the LCD, but the HU doesn't have one. I tried emailing the company, but still no answer. I know I'll also need to figure out the antenna issue as well (Versa), but I'm not worried about that now. Does anyone know where else I could put the illumination lead from the stock harness into the head unit?

I've included the wiring diagram from the manual, but it tells nothing more than I have.
