so i bought a fujita intake and installed it fits perfectly and everything. doesnt move nice and stiff, but sometimes when i press the gass petal i feel a like something is tapping the throttle wire like a vibration, i dunno what it is any ideas? its not constant just feels like someone is flicking it and i can feel it through the petal then it goes away and comes back randomly

im about 99 percent sure that the altima coupe is an electronic "throttle by wire" so nothing could be tapping on a throttle cable because there isnt one,

i dont think that your intake would be the cause of this tapping, but if i remember correctly, (i could be wrong) the throttle pedal in the a/c has some sort of feedback device to apply pressure back to your foot to give the throttle pedal some real world feel, so maybe something is going on with that,

so am i right to assume it wasnt making this ticking/tapping before the intake install?

yeaa im not sure, stock intake never felt it b4, new intake now i feel it. its very strange cuz i did exactly what directions said, and the intake is secure. so im not really sure what it is and it happends even when the AC is off.

Only problem with the Fujita intake is that it gives the owner's "quasi-thrust"

That is the brain rationalizes the money spent and transfers it to "butt-dyno"....

The one's that don't suffer from said "quasi-thrust", just like it for the look and sound, and maybe an extra .24 mpg...."

Sorry, It had to be said..

make sure it it all the way tight..... and there will still be a little and no problems. my wife notices it.... i told her that it was the awesome sensor kicking in and the pu**y magnet switching on
