problem with fuel gauge

problem with fuel gauge
did the search button but nothing concrete came up.... basically my fuel gauge has started to act up... it is not indicating the correct fuel amount... yesterday after filling up it only showed 3/4 tank... what gives?

Do another search. This question has been answered many times. There is a schrader valve that needs to be replaced. nope... nothing had to be replaced... i just did the job myself today... had the day off so i figured i would open up the gas tank ( access thru the rear seat ) and just cleaned both floaters... everything is back to normal now... anyone who has the same problem, all you need is 30 mins and some q-tips... my gas tank now shows full tank and gauge is working normal...telcoman wrote:
