To begin with, check the fuse number 11 in the diagram listed on the third page of foldout.pdf here. If that fuse is OK, check the fusible link letter f in the engine bay fuse box diagrammed on the next page.

thanks for the response!
unfortunately, the link to the pdf didn't open...
and from other posts i've read mentioning fuse numbers - my fuses aren't identified by numbers.
maybe you could tell me where to find the diagram pdf - or see if you can link it again?
much appreciated.

I have a 2006 Altima and have the problem described here-the window rolls down a few inches on the power up feature. Problem is I can't for the life of me find the reset button. I have removed the switch console and removed the door panel. No little button anywhere. I see others have had this issue but I am lost. Anyone know specifically where to look? Is it under something? Thanks

Thanks for the link to the workshop manual. It was the first place I looked and the reset button is not where it is shown in the illustration on my car. That's why I sent the question out to the forum to see if any one else had the same problem.
Perhaps it is behind something but I don't want to start tearing things apart.

Sorry, you didn't give any indication that you had consulted the FSM.

I'm looking at eBay auction listings for "2006 Altima window regulator" and I'm noticing some have a button and some don't. Yours must be the latter.

This seems to be a process for resetting those without buttons:

I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier Pickup crew cab. I can roll driver side auto window down but it will not go back up for about 30 minutes. I have pulled trim and removed controller under buttons and sprayed with electrical contact cleaner. No luck. Do I need to replace the controller?
Thanks
