Problem with clutch slave cylinder

Hi, thank you for reading. I recently attempted a clutch swap for the first time this weekend. I am almost dont except I cant get the slave cylinder back in. It looks like the piston is extended all the way out and I cant bolt it back on. What must I do?

compress it usuall not to hard i put the pin against the fork then press it in slide the bolts in and your good to go ..

I usually use a c-clamp to compress the slave cylinder and the fork togather and then you should be able to put the bolts in. Hope this helps.

I followed the advice and was able to do it. Thank you for your help, nissan and element. I haven't drove my car in a month, and I was able to drive it last night. Thank you again
