I have a stock 95 240sx and Im having trouble starting up my car. I thought it was the battery and I took down to walmart and had it recharged. I drove around for the day and it started up fine but then I was working on it today and it started to get really drained and eventually stopped. Then my friend jump starts the car and it will run fine. I turned off the car and tried to start it up and it wouldnt. Does it sound like I have an alternator problem? I dont own a voltage meter so I could test it but I wanted to get your guys input on it. Thanks in advance.

If it was running and then bogged down and quit, then yes it is either a problem with the alternator or it's wiring. You really should own a multimeter. They're cheap, and they're almost as essential as a 12mm socket wrench.
