Problem with Automatic Window Roll-up

Everytime I use the automatic window roll up on the drivers sideon my 07 G35, it rolls all the way up and then back down to where it's open about 4 or 5 inches. I had unplugged the battery. Is there a reset sequence for the window?? The passenger side doesn't do it. Is there something wrong?? Thanks!

Yes, there are procedures in the Factory Service Manual.You have to take the door panel off, but is very ez to do.Mine did the very same thing on my 05 sedan.

Try this. Remove your door panel and make sure your switches are connected. run the window all the way up. unplug the motor. plug it in again. run it down on auto. run it up on auto. it should be fine. thats how i've fixed that for years.

I just used the reset button....never had the problem again.

actually to reset an 07-up model..roll the window all the way down,next roll the window manually by lightly lifting up on the switch,once the window is all the way up continue to hold the switch in the manual up position for 5 seconds or more,then roll the window down in auto mode,next auto up with the window and it should work just as designed...hope this helps
