:( I'm having an ABS problem. The ABS check light is on and I can hear a vibration coming from the ABS control unit. You can feel the vibration if you put your hand on the control unit. It does not stop when I turn off the ignition. I have to disconnect the battery to stop it. The brakes still function, but I can't leave it like this because I am afraid the battery will run down. The problem is electrical, but I don't have any wiring diagrams to help me shoot the problem.

Anyone know what is going on?

Thanks

Remove the black cover on the ABS actuator and tap the relay. If it goes off, that's definately your problem. If not, it's probably still your problem. It's fairly common for this relay to stick closed.

I've had ths exact problem. I replaced both ABS relays(around $60 for both from Lisle) after advice from this great board, and the warning light went off, along with the running control problem!

I've seen this happen on all models. It is relays - no question. It's a real easy job, just pull them out & pulg them in. I have both for $45.00 shipped ground. Call me 1.888.216.5328.-Joe

Can anyone tell me where the ABS's relays for a '97 Q45 are? Thanks in advance.
