Problem with a CRANKSHAFT PULLEY on a 00 Pathfinder...
I need to change out my crankshaft pulley but it keeps on spinning when I try to unscrew the bolt tightening it. Can any1 give me some ideas on how it can be don without an impact gun

and also which way do I need to go clockwise or counteclockwise

Why are you replacing the crank pulley?
To undo the bolt, lock up the engine by putting the transmission in gear. Turn counterclockwise.

Secure the breaker bar against the frame and crank the starter. Its worked for me numerous times.
