Problem with a 98 pathfinder

Hey guys i'm asking this ? for a friend ..

She has a 98 Pathfinder and the problem she's been having is that when its hot out the truck wont start or takes like 2-3 attemps .She has taken it to the dealer as well as privite shops and they cant find anything wrong with it besides a code for a bad O2 senser .Any help would be great.....

Dead spots in the starter? Bad wiring? Trace the big positive cable from the battery to the starter and see if anything stands out.

Hey thanks i just found out today that she is also throwing a code for her emissions system thats what she was told at advanced auto . I've worked on hondas so this is a whole new animal for me .,,,,

Wireing looks good fuses are good ..How would i got bout checking for dead spots on the starter ...Could it maybe be the MAFS maybe its dirty ..

She has gone to i think she told me 3 shops 1 being the dealer and no one can find the problem ..((guessing it only happens on 1st start up )) This is her only mode of transportation so any help is appreicated thanks again guys .....
