problem when shifting

today i just noticed if i slam the clutch down while im in a gear driving slow that there is a small clunking noise. you cant feel anything but there is a small noise. anyone have any idea what this could be? or is this normal and im just looking for something thats wrong?

does it sound like this noise is coming from the differential?

sounds more like the front of the car, like half way from the front bumper and shifter and its more of a rattling sound.

1/2 way between the front bumper and the shifter is about where your clutch assembly would be. Possibly a throwout bearing.....

I hear the same noise dude i have a redline 05. Im thinking i might have to take it to a shop as well

From research online (and my personal experience), the 350Zs apparently have serious clutch and transmission problems. Expect to have to have your clutch replaced. It's not covered under warranty, and it's not cheap.
