problem when my 1994 q45 gets hot

i have a 1994 q45 i am bout to modify the motor with a 302 but untill i get all my parts together i have to drive it like it is it runs good as **** when i first start it up in the moring time i could do ****ing 360 all day but when it starts to get hot it runs like **** it barley wants to go
