Problem w/new airflow adapter for my 91 ka24de!

I changed my stock air box for an adapter and filter that i bought on ebay. Whenever i rev up to 2000rpm it starts to sputter but then it once it goes pass 2500 it revs fine. I changed the plugs and its still doing it.

check your timing, see if it moved at all. mass airflow sensor too
