Ok, there are a few of you who know what I'm referring to that talk to me on facebook. Well this is what's going on.

Last Sunday night I got in my car and noticed my blue interior (blue map/dome lights) weren't turning on. Turned out it was a blown fuse. So I changed the 10 fuse and everything came back on, EXCEPT for the passenger side front map light. Someone told me to change the bulb to the stock one to see if it was a bad bulb. So I did that right now. And it wasn't it. I put the blue led bulb in the driver side and it worked fine. Even tried with a stock bulb. It's like there's no power going to the right map light. What do you guys think the problem could be?

Hey it's Scott from FB.. if you wiggle it around does it flicker or turn on? Sounds like the connection is bad or it damaged something more in the circuit.

try putting in a blue bulb (not stock) from a different part of your vehicle to the right map light. maybe that one bulb that wont turn on just shorted out? if nothing works, your statement on having lost power on that side is prob correct.

i did that. the one on the drivers side still works, so i put it in the passenger. and it did not work.
i then put the passenger blue bulb in the drivers side, and it DID WORK. so it is not a bad bulb

the other day i was having some interior light problems, while diagnosing i found that the plug in right above the dash in the peice that goes to the roof beside the front windshield had come slightly unplugged due to my modification, maybe your having a similar issue,

im in the middle of doing a writeup on putting leds in the door handle of the car so when you hit your unlock button it will light up, so i was playing around in there. just put a flat screw driver starting from the top and working your way down snap off the piece, when at the bottom pull the whole piece toward the inside of the car and it all comes out, you will see the bunch of wires and the plug in at the bottom, check to make sure its secure.

here is a pic of the piece, its pretty simple to take off once you start, just start from the top and work your way down about halfway there is a metal tab that you slide out, then the rest just pulls out

oh ok, so the plug on the drivers side controls the light on the passenger side dome too?

EDIT: Ok, i took the drivers side off. the white plug that controls the left (above driver) map light, does that also control the one on the right?

Im sorry its taking me such a long time to reply back, its been a busy weekend for me due to the 4th.

i do belive there are two plugins on the drivers side, but on mine one wasnt being used... i dont know what its for although a guess would be the mirror with the homelink thing.

and yes, the one on the drivers side controlls all the lights on the roof

there is nothing else it could be other than a loose conection at the light itself, maybe above the plastic where the cables plug into the lights, but ive never been in there before and dont know anything about it, sorry...

ok, my car is at the dealership. i switched out blue led bulbs with stock ones so they wouldnt say anything. but sure enough they still did, they were talking about my blue gauge cluster, start button, and door lights. i know theyre gonna try and pin it on me for map light not working. and they're gonna charge me an additional $95.00 aint that sum bs?

ok, the moment we (mainly i) have been waiting for. I just picked up the coupe from the dealership right now. and as i said before, there was NO POWER going to the passenger side map light. They had to order a whole new lamp assembly. There was some kind of bad power going on. I already forgot what they told me. But I'll ask again when they call. So I gotta take her back next week when the part comes in to have it replaced.

i really wish i was there to see this.. i have a really hard time believing they actually needed to order the part, i figured someone with some common sense would be able to fix a few solder points or a broken cable or something.
