when i start my car a strange buzzing noise comes fro under the dash the parking break light stays on and the battery light. once i rev over 2000 the battery light dissapears and only parking break light remains. i think this has also cause my battery to significantly drain which i just had tested and was told it was almost full but something has cause my car not to start up. what could this buzzing noise be i check all fuses....? help ...89 240sx

I had a similar problem with the battery and brake light coming on under 2000, ended up being my altenator.
