this starting happening about 3 weeks ago but, after i start the car and drive for about 10 minuets and the car gets warmed up it wont stay at idle, it will just die when i stop at stop signs or stop lights (for stop signs i usually slow down and then keep the throttle and clutch in and use the ebrake) i should be getting the car diagnosed at a local performance shop soon but i wanted to know if anyone here knew what the problem was before i get it looked at. im really hoping its not a head gasket or anything major. ive had the car for about 2 months now and it didn't do it until about 3 weeks ago.

car is a 91 SE with a KA24DE, let me know if you need any more info

my car did that too and the problem turned out to bea vaccuum leak.

one of rubber hoses going into the brake booster was crackedand i didnt find it until my friend pulled on it by accident.

a quick test...try pushing on ur brake as hard as u can (if it will stay running long enough) and watch to see if ur idle goes down. if so then u have a vaccuum leak in ur brake system
