Hey guyz, so I finally got my car back from the mechanic. There are a few problems, but the one I'm most concerned about is the gas. The needle is definately off. On friday, I put $10 of gas in it and it only lasted about 38 miles, then on saturday I fed the hungry beast some more $10 worth of gas and it went 59 miles without asking for more. Then yesterday, on sunday . . I filled it up all the way, about $22 worth, and 35 miles later . .here I am . . screaming again about why the needle is half way down. Why is my car guzzling like 4 miles per gallon? I know my radiator has a little leak, could that be it? The car runs prefect. There is no cat, just a straight pipe to the hks dragger exhaust. Only mods are magnaflow intake and hks exhaust. Why is my car running like this? What could the problem be!!!! Isn't my 89 240sx suposed to run about 22 miles per gallon at least? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think its the mods. if anything that would help get the a/f ratio better. you might want to take the gauge out and check the voltage and see if its off. if thats not it, it might be the sending unit. hope that its not, because its a pain in the A$$ to change. we had to drop the tank on my old truck to fix mine.
