PROBLEM!!!!

I have a 1993 240sx with a complete SR20 swap in it. I dont know if they have rev limiters in them or not but it does feel like it wen i punch it.. FIRST GEAR: I punch it and it barly lets me go over 6500RPM. and i switch to second gear and it doesnt go over 4000RPM.. i dont know wat the problem is.. sum1 help please!!!!

i dont think that would have to do anything with rev limiter. to me it sounds more like some ecu issues, but i could be worng small chance but still. CAN SOME ONE ELSE WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN ME HELP THIS GUY?

check ur maf sensor that can be ur problem too

could be wrong ECU, bad MAF, boost/vacuum leak, crappy wiring ANYWHERE, severly incorrect ignition timing, clogged up fuel system, and a TON of other things. almost anything in the swap could be at fault. take your time, go slowly, and be thorough. don't drive it all over and end up f'ing up your motor from running super rich or lean or whatever. also get a friend to help because you may be at this for a LONG time. i was fixing things on my swap for about 6 months before i finally got everything right, and overall i'm very pleased with how it turned out.
