yeah im a noob at this forum so bear with me....my 96 KA24DE S14 has some problems with the idlewhen it idles the motor shakes and the RPMs bounce from 500-1000but when i spray carb cleaner in the intake the car becomes "normal" for a period of time....someone told me to try using seafoam cleaner...do you think thats gonna work?i think it could be a vaccum leak...

and another problem is the engine check light.the light was never on before until i changed the oil tonight...i just flushed out the engine and used royal purple and engine restore.when i started it back up again the light poped up.whats wrong?

PLZ HELP! THX!

Well since your OBD2 and your check engine light is on, take it to like Autozone and have them read your codes, it will tell you exacly whats wrong.

BTW it's free

take off your intake pipe and clean your TB really well. also take the screw out of your iacv ( the idle adjustment screw) take that out and spray lots and lots of carb cleaner in there and if you have an air compressor hit the inside with air...tap on the iacv with a piece of wood and hammer to loosen up carbon..do those repeatedly.
