I have 240sx 97. Everything seems to run fine, except my car shakes a lot.when I mean shake it rattles a lot when I go over 60m/h and when I put my gear into reverse. I dont think i has anything to do with alignment or tire pressure, because I have already checked it out many times. I think its a bigger problem like loose motor mount or something.

Does anyone have similar problem as me? Or have idea to how I could fix this problem. Please leave me some input.

p.s. extra info: I have over 100k/m in my car right now.

Mine vibrated around 50 MPH because I needed a new driveshaft carrier bearing, and had to get the driveshaft balanced.

It probably have something to do with your driveshaft and carrier or the balance on your tires. Maybe a bent rim also.

Find out if it is speed related or RPM related. That will tell you whether it is engine or drivetrain. Then continue to eliminate from there.

I believe it is speed related... b/c rpm stays pretty low when I hit 60m/h.
