Ok , here's what's up.
I followed this DIY off of nico (as I did the last time), only this time I used a 96 Ka transmission instead of an 93-Ka transmission.
All was going normal until it was time to slip the Sr bellhousing over the Ka guts.
It seemed that one of the rods (the lowest w/ the slit in it) wouldnt mate with the bellhousing.
I removed the bellhousing and tried shifting the gears only to find out that it will only shift into 1st and second. I dont know if its because the rods werent supported or if maybe I had done the bellhousing removal precedure incorrenctly.
A friend of mine told me that if the transmission wasnt in neutral when I took it apart that I could have messed something up internally ,but im quite sure it was.
Ive searched most of the more well known boards and I cant really find anyone with the same problem...
Help!!!!!
