Hey guys... I'm new to this whole site, but I needed some ideas so here's what's up: This morning I went out to start the old 92 sentra (standard), and got it to where i thought we were good to go... let the clutch out, and it quits when i went for another go, all i could here was the starter spinning, so i'm wondering if, from that, somebody can point me in the right direction... from what i can tell my serpentine belt isn't moving... i don't think it's the starter unless nissan's are different cuz most of em make a ticking noise when they give up on ya, but i suppose it's possible... maybe the timing chain if anyone could help that would be sweet!!!!!!! if you need more info, i'll see what i can do. Thnx

Very odd.

I'll assume you were giving it gas when you let the clutch out to get going and it quit. That tells me that it's a transmission issue, something between the crankshaft and the wheels.

But now it won't even start, which is even more strange. The starter is clicking, and sounds normal, correct?

Fuel? How old is the fuel pump/filter?

it sounds like your distribution system is out. spark plugs, wires, cap, ign. coil? its not fuel and not a transmission issue.
