I just bought a 2007 G35 coupe in December and I have had a lot of problems with the bucket seats. It took me 3 weeks to find a suitable driving position and I find the seats too stiff and uncomfortable for lengthy drives. I wish I could have known about this problem prior to purchase. I love this car, but if I can't find a solution to this problem I will have to sell it. Any suggestions?

i believe that the seat will feel like that, but if you give it some time the seats should eventually curve and fit you like a glove. Thats how my seats were in my 06 coupe. The were really stiff, and when I bought it in Charlotte, NC and drove it back home (Greenville, SC), I had to stop 2 or 3 times because it was unconfortable, and thats about a 1hr and 30min trip. But now, the seats fit me and are pretty comfy; i actually slept in them one night (long story...) In addition to that, I go to school in VA, so i take 5 hour drives in them non stop and i don't have any comfort problems what-so-ever. But just take like short drive around town or just sit in the car for a little bit, eventually you'll feel the difference...

but to sell is a drastic decison, its like getting a dog... you have to make some adjustments to bring it into your life...

Very interesting to know!

Reason I bought a 2nd sedan was I could not get comfy in the seat.

That's too bad. I think two things might happen. First, the seats may loosen up some, and secondly, your may adjust to them. If it doesn't, you might search for the thread here about putting sedan seats in a coupe. My sedan has comfortable seats, and I'm not a tiny guy.

I would use some leather conditioner on them and drive around a lot.

My mom started out with my old I30 when it was around 3 years old and drove it for 5 or so years. When she bought her 02 QX4 she complained about the seats for a while, then she either got used to them or broke them in.
