So... I've got a couple of problems with my Versa now.

I've had it since August 31s. I'm at almost 8000 KM. Its been Snowing here for a while now... so the roads have a nice layer of snow on them.. though not icey, and I got an oil change yesterday.

So the situation is this...

I've been driving up the Highway for the last 50 minutes to an hour, I get off the highway and am slowing down for the light at the end of the exit ramp, just before I come to a complete stop.. the (!) light for the parking break went on, as well as the ABS light. So I continue driving and I have to make a stop to pick somethihng up. I look at the manual and find out that the parking break light also means break problem.. and the ABS light means that there is an ABS problem and its not working, but the normal breaks work fine (Tested that before I made my stop, so I already knew).

When I leave after my stop, my spedometer isnt working, and the lights are still on implying I have no ABS.

15 minutes or so after my stop.. I come to a stop light, the lights go off, and the spedometer starts working again once I start going.

Anybody have any idea why? I figure I should take it in to Nissan tommorow morning just to be on the safe side.

That's a new one.

Maybe something to do with your BCM (Body Control Module), which is one of the possible components with the TPMS issues that have been experienced. It, from what I understand, controls multiple systems in the car, so it's entirely possible that this could control all of the systems you described.

But yes, take it to your dealer! Fast!

This does kind of sound like a loose wire, connetor or overall bad wiring harness. I'm not sure the snow has anything to do with the problem, unless condensation is part of teh problem. I have noticed that thsi car is sealed very tight and moisture forms on the inside of the car after snow and ice melts on the floor mat causing a rise in humidity inside the car as it dries. Most cars I've owned have enough air leaks ot let that moisture out. SO it's a good and bad thing.

sounds like a bad abs sensor(speed sensor) or snow/condensation got into the sensors connector.
