power wire to battery from alternator is hot all the time;)

pull the alternator and take it to autozone, you can test it for free.

its the alternator if your getting power underload...i had the same problem...it was the alternator...

\I short the battery cables one time and fried my alternator with the same sypmtoms you are describing....if you go thru dealer to get a new one, prepare for rape.....check some where else, ........
