problem need possible solutions....

my GF has a 240sx with a stock KA. it is a 91 and has 106k on it and is a 5speed. It was running perfect for about a month since she has owned it. In the last few days however it has broken down 5 times. It runs right and then at about 11pm every night it shuts down till the next day.

the list of the things we have tried fixing are as follows.....

I think it is either the fuel system or maybe the PCM and was wondering if the 240sx had PCM problems as often as my 6 does? ..... any other ideas would be wonder ful I just want the thing to work. She whent from a mustang to a 240sx and well her first impression hasnt been great and well I would def like to change that.

My first guess would be the fuel pump is giving out. Probably pumps for a while, then dies, and has to sit unused to 'rest', which is why it will start the next day. Im sure you could check voltages back there, or when it dies (and you are able) pull the fuel line from the fuel filter and turn the ignition to on (but dont start) and see if there is any fuel pressure.
