Just got my 91 tt with 106000 miles in today after 3 weeks of being d!ck around by auto transport companies (by the way, dont ever use blue bonnet shipping). Anyways as soon as i started driving it i noticed a very big lack of power and hesitation as well as some studdering threw all of the gears. I changed the plugs and it made somewhat of a difference but there is still a noticeable lack of power. Also when changing the plugs i noticed some of the electrical connections were cracked where they plug in. Any idea where i can get some good performance replacements?? Any help to get this car haulin *** again would be greatly appreciated. This is my first 300z so i have alot of learnin to do still.

Also before even driving the car i installed an HKS Hiper exhaust and the exhaust on the driver side was barely rubbing against the bumper while the passenger side had about an inch and a half of clearance. I was thinking maybe some larger hangers on the driver side would drop it down a little to even it out (and save my bumper from getting melted). If anyone has a better suggestion please let me know.

Thanks for you help,

-Mike-

Mike, first off let me say congrats on the Z32. Now that you own a Z car you are officially better than everyone else

As for your plugs....use NGK platinum plugs only. Check with our sponsors and get the step colder than stock. For the connectors get the OEM factory ones with pigtails to wire them in.

Good choice on the exhaust, I run it on mine and absolutely love it. For fitment try tweaking the metal hangers and possibly bending them a little bit. Should be able to get it to line up without a lot of trouble. Just about all of them I've seen like up perfect out of the box.

Also, if its down on power check for vacuum leaks. And make sure all basic maintence is up to date and that a 60K maintence (timing belt, water pump, etc) has either recently been done or you get it done ASAP.
