i found out there was rain water was coming from the top of my trunk through the spoiler holes. - problem fixed. then i discovered theres a leak somewhere around the tail light. i opened it up and found a rolled up dress sock! it was nasty but i guess it kept the water soaked...? for all that time.

i figured out its coming from the cracks between my tail light panels. my question is... how should i go about sealing it? i have 3M black silicone sealant hoping it was around the tail light and the car. now i need something clear to seal up the cracks.. any ideas on what i should use? my dad told me i should use fish tank sealer. i dont think its clear enough. heres an illustration of what im talking about. the red lines represent the cracks between panels.

a product called goop sells at walmart and a lot of other places. it has a clear version. make sure it comes with a nozzle snout.
