Hi guys, im Patrick.
My girlfriend have an 08 Versa and we live in the province of Quebec in Canada.

Since the day she got her versa, each day the temperature is underneath 0 She gets all her window ICED... and that, from the interior.
She been to Nissan here in Baie-Comeau and everytime she went there, they gave her answers you normaly tell in joke to a stupid jerk.
They told her after checking it and not finding anything that she only had to park the car in the SUN'S DIRECTION!...

So there's my 2 questions for you guys.

1. Is the VERSA a Feng Shui car that needs to be always parked in the sun's direction... :chuckle:
2. Did anyone in this forum had the same problem in the past ? im thinkin' about changing her Cabin Air Filter but since all glasses gets PRETTY MUCH ICY AS F+/K :ohno: I don't realy know what to do since i don't know Nissan that much.

By the way, nice to be a part of this realy big forum ! :bowrofl:

Assuming the car is properly water sealed, the ice forms because there is a higher than usual humidity inside the car.

The solution? When she is driving the vehicle, have the air conditioning unit set to using fresh air, not recirculation. In addition, she can keep the "AC" button lit to dehumidify the air.

Also make sure she knocks her boots free of snow when she gets in the car.

Yeah she's already do so but even with all those points, there's still a huge amount of ice that she needs to scrape every morning...

I get the same thing in the Southern US on all my vehicles. Versa, Altima, Chevy truck, and the FX50 I'm driving right now.

Happens to me too. I think with wet floor mats and the heater on full tilt the humidity causes it.
