OK I searched before anyone says it. I'm not new so I did search. I was transplanting my s13 alloys onto my s14, all was going smoothly until I got to the rear wheels. The s13 alloys aren't going flush against the, I believe it was the disc. Then I started thinking maybe it was because I have ABS but the s13 had abs as well. Perhaps I just can't tighten them down enough by hand and need to get an impact gun? Any help is appreciated, it has been a while since I have worked on a car.

it shouldnt be hitting anything. the only thing i can think of (because my buddy had some on his s14, LOL) are the fronts clearing the coilovers... you'll need spacers up front.

You should be able to set the wheel smoothly onto the s14 hub. If you can't do that, check the usual spots for trouble. Assuming tire size isn't an issue, MAKE SURE that the hub bore on the wheel is clean and free from corrosion, and also check the hub on the car for rust and corrosion. Corrosion / rust is usually the problem with fitting oem wheels neatly.

Sounds like the wheel goes on, but not quite all the way...? Yeah, just clean up the hub and hub bore.

Well I did a little more work, it isn't tire size and it isn't corrosion. I never noticed this the other day but there is a plastic ring on the hub, is that normal or something left behind by the after market rims that were on it previously? Here is are pictures of the ring and wheels and fitment.

Can I just remove the ring or is it an actual piece of the normal assembly?

Thanks again.

The ABS ring should not matter because its mounted behind the hub.

Its the only thing there and it seems to be catching. I am at a loss, the s13 that the wheels came from had abs too.

Well I checked today and even my factory spare doesn't fit properly. Any ideas?
