OK well i did an electric fan swap. i think it was from an older ford Taurus. well i did the swap.. using an 30amp relay and a 30 amp inline fuse. Well wired it all up and worked great.. that was a while back ago but now.. for some odd reason its blowing fuse like every week? anyone help me why? also the wire i jused to wire it was 14 gauge automotive wire dont know if it helps

I think the Taurus fan pulls more than 30 amps on startup. You should really use a larger relay, larger fuse, and definitely larger wire. I would run a 40 amp relay, same size fuse, and at least 10 gauge wire if it were mine.

Or the fans windings are shorting> Try a larger fuse, fan and wire, if nothing get a new fan.

Check you wiring, you obviously have a short or, get a new fan, because that fan is shorting itself out.

Ya if it worked before and now it's blowing fuses something happened in the wiring or the fan itself is shorting.
