hey everyone...yesterday i was trying to install my amp kit for my 04 coupe g35. and i spent about hour n half looking for a hole where i can plug my power wire from inside to under the hood...i cant seem to find the hole from the battery to inside my car..if anyone can help please let me kno..i also tried looking for it on youtube..but cant find anything...PLEASe HeelPppp...

I'm not sure where all the factory wiring goes through the firewall, but with the grounding kit I have, you have to feed wires to inside the cabin. This is done through the rubber dome piece that is near the battery. This will feed cables downwards near the glove box.

thanks for the respond..but thats where i started to look at...and i wasnt able to find that rubber hole....the battery is on the left of the hood..would it be right behind or what???..or a better question would be..from the inside..where would i find that??..if i was to put the wire thru...where would i put it thru the inside...(seeing if i can install it from the inside or what not)..but yea..thanks for the respond..

There's actually no visible hole. There is a rubber dome covering the hole. You'll have to make a slit in the dome and use a little saliva to lube the cable to get it through.

The dome/hole is behind the battery (behind meaning moving towards the back of the car) and slightly to the left if I remember correctly. It sits in view.

You have a big rubber cover where the wire goes through the firewall. In order to get to this rubber gromet you need to remove the entire plastic batter cover section. I think I even removed the plastic piece that covers the bottom of the windshield.

For my power lead, my installer used a grommet that was on the driver's side...
