Problem AC not blowing cold sometimes B2631

Another question/problem im having with the HVAC in my M35h. Sometimes, not always, ive noticed that my AC wont blow cold air, i find it doing it mostly when the hybrid battery is low, in traffic, having cool seats also on, or just being parked waiting for someone. It eventually blow cold air again on its own, but sometimes it takes to long, the other solution is turning the car off and on again. One time when it did it i could hear that the compressor wasnt on, and when i turn the car off and on the compressor turned again, and when is blowing cold air its really cold, so no gas leak for sure. I plug my OBD and i have a code for a sunload sensor, idk if this has something to do with my symptoms (B2631) or it could be something else.
Also i find the part number for the sunload sensor, it says is the 27721-1MA0A. Is not expensive, should i try change the sensor?

If you're checking in the garage or in the dark, the sunload sensor will always throw a B2631. If the code won't erase in sunshine then there's an issue, otherwise it's normal.

The "really cold" air may mean your TXV Valve is stuck open and your intermittent lack of cooling is from a frozen evap. Hopefully that isn't the case, because the TXV on the hybrids is mounted on the evap and the whole HVAC (basically the dash and everything under it) has to come out to change it. Some loss of cooling can be expected when sitting in EV mode with a low EV battery, because the electric compressor is powered by it.

What I meant by “really cold air” is that when the issue isn’t happening and I set the A/C to the coldest setting (16 °C / 60 °F), it works fine and cools really well. If I start setting higher temperatures, then it gets less cold, just like any A/C I’ve experienced.
The thing is, when the problem occurs, it doesn’t blow less cold—it only blows hot air. But since the outside air was hot (about 40 °C / 104 °F in summer), I’m not sure if it was actually blowing hot air or just ambient air, lol.

Either way, considering it could be the TXV valve (I hope it isnt this lmao) and all the disassembly involved, what’s the worst that can happen if I don’t fix it? Will my symptoms get worse, or will it just keep happening as it does now?

Once the TXV sticks wide open it won't get worse, but it will freeze up every time it runs for awhile in hot/humid conditions. The heavy cooling load along with humidity is what causes the freezes. With less demand or low humidity it won't happen as frequently.
