Ok i have a big problem here, i finally got all the pasrt together. Now the problem is,1) my earl brake lines do not fit!!!!!!!!!!!, They fit into thet caliper, but do not fit into another end. We tried many things, it just wouldnt fit, i would have to bend and mess up all the brake lines, and i do not want to do that. Does anyone else had this problem??? Please help ASAP.

2) My brake master cylinder from the z32 has one less line, so therefor i cannot fit the extra line into the z32 MC. What to do?????

i spoke with phase 2, they said that that i have to install the brake lines to the firewall first, and then to the caliper. What I did today, i install the caliper line first and then i tried to install into the firewall. Now generaly speaking it wouldnt matter which side bolt on to first, but techincally speaking, what he said was the once you install the line to the caliper side, the lines raise and you cannot screw the other side, it kind of makes sense to me but not really. Anyone get this?

Well Im not sure exactly, there braided 240sx/300zx conversion lines. The end that goes into the line in wheel well should be same as stock size, and then the caliper end of course should be bigger. Mine went on with no problem! Did you whomever ya got your lines thru exactly what it was for? Cuz some people think ya can use regular 300zx lines.

Well after finding the right toold to fit the stupid lines that phase 2 motortrend sent me they finally fit, but had to do alot searching to fit the ends. Now after calipers and lines and rotors were installed, came in the Z32 master cylinder, of course that could not go without a problem. After all the lines were switched and my 240sx MC was destroyed the pedal kept loosing pressure. After you pump the brakes. Now 1) Either the Z32 MC is leaking or 2) there is leakege somewhere in the lines. But no brake fluid is coming out.

So on Monday im going to get a new Z32 MC and see if it works, if it doesnt.1) There is a leak in the brake lines2) ill have to use the stock 240 MC

Um...did you bleed the brakes? You may just have air in your lines.

I just did my Z brake upgrade yesterday, and let me tell ya...it took a little time to get the pedal pressure just right...

I bled the brakes twice...1st when I got the calipers on...then I took it for a test drive...lost pressure...THEN i brought it back and bled them a 2nd time....works great now...just takes time.

Well...No. I am using the stock MC. I heard it is only really necessary to use the Z32 MC if your repalcing the rears as well. (which I have, but I'm waiting on purchasing a Z32 MC myself) Also, and I am not sure about this, but does the S13 have a smaller diameter bore for its MC? Anyone have any info on this?

Did you hook up the right brake lines to the right holes on the MC?

first post, here goes:

sounds like the system has a problem with air.I understand that if you dont address the ABS system, you will never get the brakes properly bled.

my cd rom is down so i cant check the fsm, but from what i have read,

-disable abs-bleed abs (if equipped)-bleed farthest to closest (dr,pr,df,pf)

good luckJ

doh!!! might be worth trying the original mc, at least to see if it will work, at least you could eliminate or confirm the mc as the problem

yes, good point but i had to cut the original to take the fitting out and put into the Z32 MC. Stock MC will be the last resort for now.

It is recommended that one use a 1 1/16 inch Z32 MAF...which did you have? They come in all different sizes...
