when i got my 240sx all was well until my bro decided to get himself a probe gt. Unfortunately we took them to the track and i got my *** handed to me. But its all good now cause his clutch is goin out.hahawho would get a ford anyway? (he had to strip his emblems off haha)if you'd like to see the 240sx or the probe gt go to http://www.unnaturalconcepts.bravehost.com

lets be serious 2.2l turbo vs 2.4l non turbo, probes have turbo from 88-92 on gt's and will beat shizzle out of stock 240sx unless like you said his clutch goes out. maybe you can go cut his boost controll line lol

Ok guys we all know the probe is just a ford and blah blah blah, but I know people who run 12's in them all day long, it's just like one of those things when people bagged on the SRT-4 and everyone was saying oh it's just a neon, yah a Neon that with little mods easy gets into the 300fwhp, and wipes the pavement with us all day long, lets face it as much as we love or 240's and trust me I do love my car, we are slow when stock. But the truth of the being is does take a SRT-4 18 pounds of boost to generate any decent power HAHA.

hey i know how to drive, im talking about a stock 2.4l sohc 240sx against a 94 2.5l 6 cylinder 5 speed probe gt. Lets face it, the ford is just a little quicker. When launched right and shifted right, its gone.

okay is that probe have mods intake muffler? I know my busted *** sohc with mostly homemade mods will and has druGGGGG a stock v6 gt to 60 like three times, still shame on you for telling on yourself. lolyou dont have ANY mods int/ext efan I think you should lose but with just those to his stock you should wax

let me in on your home made mods then, im gonna get the 240 back in a day or 2 with the shaved head and new gaskets and run him again at the track and post the results and maybe a video on my website. Can you show me those mods and a pic of your 90?

with my limited supply of funds( plus the cost of another ka24e that i had to get) i have only managed an intake, a muffler, a head shave, and eibach springs/ Lightweight rims and low pros.

sounds like you got more than me lol. have you gave the car a real tuneup?(cap and rotor,wires. how YOUR clutch? to free up a few lost just to drag remove ac and power steering belts. Also remove your clutch fan and wire in a toggle switch to the ac fan. gut your cat if legal in your state. remove secondary butterflies, get fpr and lean it out some(only with a/f gauge) alsoone of my best seems to be my auto stanza ecu. also get out the timming gun and bump it up some

sorry for split posting but I'm on dial up next oil change go to synthetic, flush time oil and water; make sure key components are grounded propperly(metal to metal) also to amp your fuel pump and ignition there's a write up in here you can hot wire them. also most important thing you can do is drive drive drive kinda like zoom,zoom,zoom but practice is key. drop tire press. for improved grip,after smokey burnout(hot tire builds psi) run KOLD air to the intake(or to get the most IMO the exhuast manifold) helps drop underhood temps, make a cooling panel more temp drop.

Wait hold up on the synthetic oil, first of all how many miles does your KA have? It's usually good idea to replace your front and raear main seals before u run any synthetic on a higher milage KA.

My 240 has about 100k miles on it, is there anything extra needed when switching to the auto stanza ecu? any other wiring? My clutch is failrly new but its not a performance clutch.

S13FX THE ONLY SEAL I have a prob with is my vc gasket which wasn't replace when I did my HG, that was at 174xxx. jl no was plug and play except I ran into a wire I had tried to cut to remove speed limiter(didnt work at all) still not sure on speed limiter it rained today but the car pulls stronger to me someone told me its cause the fuel maps are different (more). auto 240sx ecu works too. Your clutch is fine since your not putting down major power, you had the flywheel resurfaced right?? not doing so will result in crappy clutch as well as not propperly breaking it in

yea, hes all show and no go, my bros had a lot better luck with his ride.Its no offense, thats why im attending universal tech. institute so i can go get a better job and pay for this s***.Anyway, the flywheel was resurfaced when i put my new clutch in. Do i need to get this ecu out of a 90 stanza auto or diff year?

I do believe its from like 89-92 so a 90 or 91 would work, if your junkyards have 240sx's get an auto out of that, much easier to get at(pass. kick panel instead of under middle dash) with the auto I'm able to do 3rd even 4th rain drift like on tv lol I just thought to help make clutch more firm, remove the dampner box (you'll prob. here the clutch fluid), then CAREFULLY bend the steel line over to where the rubber line goes into the slave cylinder.

dont forget to bump the base timming up to compensate for the ecu's added fuel make sure your coil is in good shape. Its not too wet today so maybe I'll check my speed limiter out, and since noones looking maybe even gtech boffa them and see for real which is better.lol don't get too far ahead have you been practicing your launches and shifts? 2nd -3rd is key shift but off the line with no spins will help. if available put on steelies with close to bald tread run like 20 psi in them, looked back and you say those 17"s are light 13" steelies on back with big soft sidewall (uber sticky icky)maybe I'll dig out the old MK1 short shifter,and you can pay shipping on it not the best but will shorten some of the throw(clamp on kind not entire top plate style) dont hold me on that wife may have trashed it lol GOD I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!, hates the whip but loves me and sh**

what the heck is wrong with Jason's 240... ? What is up with that silver crap lining the fender wells? I saw a 240 going down the road with some retarded clear tail lights and some fake spinner wheels and neons on the bottom...that's just disgraceful ... clear tail lights are the ugliest, ugliest things you can put on your car... besides that silver door jam lining and fender well lining... I love 180's and 240's and to see someone put all that junk on it really makes me mad... now i'm sorry if i offended anyone... but that 240 is ugly as HELL. Someone needs to teach jason how to hide speaker wires and not paint his interior when he gets bored... good lord...
