yeah just saw it was a Q in another post...Ive never even been inside one...I bet the guys in the infinity section could help though.
Often times in an attempt to hide screw they will make a plastic cap that covers the actual base....my toyota had one for the rear view mirrior. if there are absolutly no fastners or indentation to pry on I would try giving it a wiggle and seeing if it feels like a cover that snaps in place, You might just have to pull it off.
If you have access to the Factory service manual I know the ones for the S13's at least have how to remove all the body/interior pannels...I dunno where you get a Q45 FSM though??????
