ok so this is probably a stupid question but can any one tell me what the nismo pivot actually is? a picture of it installed? I have searched but I cant find anything to tell me where to install it and for some reason I cant figure out where this part is. I ask this because I am installing a Nismo slave cylinder and they are recommended to be bought together but I dont actually know what this is or where it goes

it took me a second, but if you're talking about replacing the slave cylinder, then you're probably referring to this:

i found this on one of the forums.. i forget which. i think it was NICO..

look inside the transmission, just right of where the dust cover inserts.

the clutch fork (clutch fork, right?) is held onto that pivot by the retainer spring. you can see that the clutch slave cylinder actually pushes on the fork, and the whole thing pivots on the.. pivot (lol), and pushes the throw out bearing.

i replaced my clutch with a twin plate and contemplated changing the pivot ball too, but my original was fine, so i chanced it and no problems thus far.

the pivot ball is what your clutch fork pivots on to push in the throwout bearing
