They look fine, but I like the SE-R calipers better, and I think I'd KILL the person who took it upon himself to paint them.nametakennow wrote:I hadn't noticed the black calipers til you said it.
Honestly, if they're going to be painted, black is the right color. I think they look fine.

As far as the wheels/lowering, good choice with your paint color of your car. It looks REALLY good.
Have you gotten those pics up yet?jbarbaresi wrote:
thanks. i'm gonna get a couple more angles up tomorrow that were requested on another forum and i'll get another close up of the wheel well to see if there's any noticeable difference in the height since saturday.
i did take some pictures while i was at work but it was really really sunny out and they didn't look good, all washed out. the day after that it snowed like 5 inches, which is still in the process of melting. i'm installing my brm exhaust tomorrow and when i get a chance to clean up the car i'll post some more pics and a soundclip. sorry for the delay.nissantech06 wrote:

why's that?boosteddet wrote:the prokit is definately the good spring to use... Good thing u didnt get the sport lines
The Sportlines lower the car TOO much, past the recommended lowering of the stock struts. I have; however, seen a 2.5L Altima lowered on Sportlines for quite a while without any problems.
I agree with you. That's what's making me tossed between the Eibachs and getting the Nismo kit WHENEVER it comes out.jbarbaresi wrote:if i had planned on replacing the struts i would have gone for the sportlines, but don't want to invest that much into the car right now. the prokit gave me the look i was going for so i'm happy.
$850 was the B15 Sentra price and on a 1.8S it dropped the car about an inch or so...but the handling was INCREDIBLY noticeable.jbarbaresi wrote:how much do the nismo shock/strut combo cost? i know ksport is coming out with a coilover soon for like $1000. i've just not been a fan of how much nismo charges for their products... and i don't think they give all that much of a drop either.
hopefully the nismo springs for the b16 will lower more than an inch, that won't even touch the fender gap on the new sentras. honestly, even though i like the look of the prokit for MY taste, i think the 07's could use to be lowered even more for anyone who plans on racing. i think a 2" drop in front and 1.5" in back like the sportlines will give should look really good for those looking for a more extreme change.nissantech06 wrote:
