Here is one for you experts.. I installed AGX's and pro kit springs on my S13. I love em. Setting is 4f\8r like it rough and handles great!! Now for the small problem. After 3 weeks of normal driving I notice that my right front has a pop when I go over bumps no matter what speed I am going. This includes turning and straight steering. I already got an allignment. I was told that all the bushings are fine. Replaced two years ago. Has anyone heard of this kinda problem? He told me it was from the springs settling down. The ride height is pro kit specs though. How can one side settle before the other? BTW, It's the same height both sides in the front and the rear is per specs with eibach. He told me to get a wrap for whiteline and put that on it would shut up the popping. Now I did the install and I was sure of the fitment of the top hat on the strut. But now I am undecided cause it's popping. I do know or think it was assy correctly. Cause the other three are fine. I am just curious to what my fellow friends on here think I should do b4 I rip the car apart ruining the new allignment. I tried a search for this and came up with suspension components being the culpret not the spring so sorry if posted a stupid repeat thread. Still kinda new to searchin. pic's of my car soon.

If it were the coil springs hitting under compression I would think you'd get the noise from both sides. Can you see anything in the wheel well that may be hitting?

could be strut bearings. common culprit when reinstalled for clunking/popping.

Grant, The allignment guy and I looked several time and it clears everything. which was another reason we came the conclusion we did. But schyawn maybe on to something.

schyawn, man that's a good one I didn't even think of the strut bearing!!! Now that you mention them both sides when compressed did not spin freely. I didn't not think that It really matter how well they did. They did spin but horribley. I will feel dumb if that's what it is. I want to replace them anyway where would I get them? Thanks for the help. Cross your fingers

That is a good theory and likely the problem. That can happen if the mount is installed using an air impact wrench. :( We have mounts for the front $61.00 each.

Grant and schywan, you guys are not going to believe this!!! I found the problem and man was it easy to fix. My wife was complaining of how rough the car is so we were about to go on a road trip to town and I thought I'd soften it up when I popped the top on the passenger side strut tower low and behold the nut had backed off and was laying in the bottom it was the problem the whole time the washer on top of the strut assy was gone. I must have forgot to put it on so when I turned the wheels over time it became looser...I put a washer on and no more popping. I wouldn't know what to think if the assy had came apart going down the road. I can't even imagine and don't want to. Thanks guys I would had never even thought about the strut bearing either. Luckily, I was installer error that cause my own frustration. Later going to town.. one happy camper.... My wife says thank you also...Bentsprocket
