Yeah....I got it, thanks. I'm a little short right now. Mother's day and my wife's birthday are side-by-side and I'm trying to figure out a way that this could be for her

I will have $$ by the 25th and will return your email.

Thanks for thinking of me ;>)

Hi there!

My name is Cindy and I am still looking for a boot for my vert that I just bought! I got a new roof and a paint job and she looks so pretty...just needs the boot! I have missed out on 3 boots now! Sigh!

I live out in Canada and finding them here is impossible. And I tried to sign into the site daily too, but found the boots gone in no time...got locked into a bid on ebay that I got overbid on...wow stressful! Laughing!

I know you are considering saving this for someone (can't tell who it is) but would you PLEASE consider me if you get no replies? I have the money and I really WANT the boot! I had totally given up hope until I saw your post. Let me know! (email at work [email protected] and at home [email protected])

Also wondering ... HOW does everyone get pics of their vert on here...have tried a couple times now...AND how does everyone get thier verts to do the "sleepy eyed" thing? I love it and want pics like that but haven't got a clue how to get my vert to do that. Is it an add on?

^^You should sign up http://photobucket.com, upload pics and copy/paste image link when you post.

Am I the only one who thinks sleepy eye conversion doesn't look good on vert? I'd just leave it alone. Right way to do it is installing this controller. You can control the angle.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

But you can do it if you cut one brown wire from popup switch. ...and good luck with your boot.

thanks so much for the instructions on how to get my pics up! I will definately try to get them up tonight sometime!

And originally I didn't like the sleepy look and thought they were broken too! But I guess I have seen so many pics now of FABULOUS 240's that I started to like it, but also was curious HOW they were doing it!

Thanks for the answer. Won't be cutting any wire in my headlights, so if I decide I really want that look will go for the controller!

BTW I have learnt SO much on this site! I spent $177.00 CAD fixing the struts on my trunk! Wish I read the posts first! Looks like I coulda fixed it for about 30.US instead!!!!

I will definately post my questions and research anything I need on here first now! You guys are GREAT!

And yeah...have I mentioned....sure would love a boot!

Hey mrk442,

Sell your boot to Cindy Parker, she's much cuter than I (she sent me a picture ;>) and and has the money now. I'll have $250 by the 25th but getting $300 from a hot Canadian now is a better deal.

Thanks for thinking of me first. You and this forum ROCK!. I'll get my boot when the time is right.

Again, thanks.

I scratched the front of my vert a year ago and installed a front-end bra (very 1980's) but it looks so cool. I too don't like the sleepy eye look and personally like my pop-ups head lights. Plus I'm keepin' my pillars!!!

Chris (ckmelly) says sell me the boot!

I'd be THRILLED!!! I was so excited I was jumping around and hugging my little boy!

Would you let me know...if you are willing to sell it to me?

I have a paypal account and I can send money that way or by Bank of America draft or however you see fit!

Cindy, Remember, you owe us pix when the boot comes. Also, your quote about the 'vert being hotter than you: I think you'll find most of us guys who post here in disagreement over that.
