Was ordering some ink cartridges for our printers (we go through a lot) and got pretty awesome service and prices through these guys:

Might be worth checking out!

Thanks for the tip! I check company profiles at http://www.resellerratings.com/ but there are no reviews posted. Can you provide some more inight?

In the past I've dealt with The Printer Ink Warehouse, but the quality of their generic inks left a bit to be desired. My partner manages a small copy and sign making business, suggested I try http://www.ldproducts.com/

Since there's so much shenanigans surrounding "ratings," I prefer word of mouth from people I trust.

These guys were a recommendation - I had never bought from them before, but they rocked. I had an issue with the order, and not only did they make it right, but they made sure I was better off than before. That's cool. :)

I'm all for saving a buck here and there, but honestly old man, I've seen too many problems arise from refilled / re-manufactured cartridges. But then again, that's my experience.

That's definitely an issue when using certain printers.

My old workhorse here (HP 4000 LaserJet) is bulletproof. She's been printing important docs here at HQ since 2008, and before that, she was a medical office printer.

I love those 4ks. Slow, sure. But indeed bulletproof.

I've used a p4010 through two small-boy deployments (my job uses about a ream+ of paper per day). b**** still spits out perfect pages despite several missing pieces and evidence of having participated in a mosh pit. Panama, Chile, and Columbia have all so far contained kiosks where I could refill the cartridges.

That has been my experience too, unfortunately. Particularly with the photo-prints that my son does - the third-party inks just don't look good either!

So, I end up buying genuine Canon and Epson inks - more expensive - for my two ink-jet printer types that I print on. The Epson cartridges in particular do not provide the cost-per-page that the Canon inks do.
