primer paint

My car is 6 differant colors right now, I dont have the money to get it painted. Im planning on primering the whole car down for now. But here's the main question. What will it look like if i primer it and put clear coat on over the primer. Can i do that? What would I have to watch out for? Can someone show me a pic.

to keep it looking like primer you have to get a special clear coat. It will not turn out like you want with normal clear. primer cars look awesome IMHO

Look for a satin clear coat, then. It'll retain the matte look but the texturing will be finer and better looking than bare primer.
