Great info, Eikon. A Glendale, AZ Nissan dealer is offering to sell ANY model Rogue (with any options/accessories) for $500 over invoice...I know that's a great deal, considering I've read that a lot of readers are being offered at or above MSRP. But maybe I could get a super deal if I wait 2-3 more months. Also, I am a Costco warehouse member (for those not familiar with Costco, it's similar to Sam's Club), and after inputing my info to dealers that offer Costco member pricing, I'm not exactly sure whether that price is only for Costco members - I asked that question, but no reply as of yet.

So really we shouldn't pay more than $25,000 if we buy an SL AWD right?

In Colorado, Costco discount is also $500 above invoice, PLUS no DNH (Dealer Handling Charge), which was $400 at my "Costco" dealer. Thus, price for 2008 Rogue (any configuration) is $100 above invoice. If you're near a Costco, a discount of this amount more than justifies the Costco membership fee, which I think is around $50-$60 a year. Plus, the car-buying process is easy and fast.

Other non-Costco dealers in this area are consistently offering prices 3% (around $750) above invoice for a new Rogue, any configuration.

I think is a good price but I will like to pay $28,000 including TT&L with the same options you have. How does the AWD feel? Does it feel planted like solid on the road? Just curious. I am jealous. I have to wait until next year.

It drives great. I'm not sure about AWD yet, since we just got our Rogue lastnight.

But I test-drove the CR-V and 4 cylinder RAV-4, and I can tell you that the Rogue feels and handle much better than the other 2.

Just wondering about the color spoiler. It says late availability on the edumunds website. Has anybody gotten one lately?

I've had Rogue pricing in TrueDelta's database for a few weeks. You can either price the Rogue by itself, or generate detailed price and features comparisons.

Thanks
We went to Mike Barney Nissan. They don't do much haggling unless you can get in on the VPP program. My final price worked out to about $300 under invoice.

They don't do much haggling, and you paid $300 under INVOICE? Do you mean MSRP? Or just a very good negotiator?

I live in the Bay Area where there are a lot of Nissan dealerships. I was able to get a Wicked Black/Black Rogue SL AWD, moonroof, splash guards, premium package for $ 24,068 ($1672 below MSRP). Using Edmunds and its related internet hook-up to dealerships I was offered $500 over invoice (Invoice was $23,836) to start with and then worked my way a little further down. Keep fighting, there are better deals out there that what I have read from the above posts.

holy crap! There must be more out there. At the 3 dealers I went to each only had 3 or 4 a piece and all of them said that they can't keep them in and they practically sold them self so that they would go down to much on the price. 2 didn't have the color I wanted....so that limited me even further....

Here's how mine came out:

MSRP $25,120 Premium Pkg, Floor and Cargo mats, Splash GuardsDISC 1,500 They called this one customer loyalty. Also own a MuranoSub $23,620

I normally don't like dealerships, but this one is a good one.

Just got home tonight with my new Rogue SL AWD. Got a silver one with everything but leather option. I got mine out the door for $27,100, which was their sticker price. They did not want to come off that sticker price at all since they are selling so well, in fact, they only had two others on the lot. He quoted me close to $30K out the door and nearly fell over (like always) when I told him I want it for $26K out the door. We both gave in a little and I made a deal at $27K out the door. Not too bad for a newly introduced car. LOVE IT TOO!!!

Put a deposit down on a Wicked Black with Gray Interior... SL AWD, Premium Package, Floor Mats, Bumper Protector, Splash Guards, Crossbars. I had a quote from another dealer selling it for $200 below invoice, but they didn't have the color I wanted with the features I wanted.Total price: $23,400 = $54 below invoice

Just brought home a venom red rogue sl awd with every option available and the cost was 25990 plus tax title etc. I found one that was close on Carmax and used that as the basis to begin negotiating. I had the price done before I walked into the dealership. I am very very happy!

What would be considered a great deal on this: http://www.config.nissanusa.co...cle=0

I'd only buy for a great deal and am not in hurry so just thought I'd throw it out there.

Hello! I'm thrilled that I purchased my '08 Silver Ice SL AWD with Premium Pkg and Moonroof out the door for $24,368 financed. It was a struggle as the dealership did not want to come off the pricing too much but twice I asked for the key to my trade in, and eventually we began to see eye to eye

So far, so good!!

Please tell me there aren't still dealers around that hold on to the keys of your trade to keep you on the lot...

I recommend doing as much research as possible. I found a great price price and took it to my local dealer for a first shot at my business. They could not beat it but offered to match it. SL AWD, Premium Package, Moon Roof Package, Cross Rails, Flaps, Bumper Protecter.....for $23150 plus TTL. Nearly a $1000 less than the invoice price Edmunds.com posts.
