Dude this is everywhere...

Are you talking about someone swapping in the engine for you or buying the engine/transmission and everything?

What model black top? s13/s14/s15? Details man!

Just depends were you are and what shop. I just priced the swap myself and I was quoted $2200-2500 depending on blacktop or redtop and milege, and $1200 for the install. So your looking at close to $4k, mabey a lil less...for a sr20 swapped in.

Wow, that is completely ridiculous. Just do it yourself, its not hard. For the wiring, send out the harnesses to get them done, thats the hardest part.

You only really need basic tools. That and an engine hoist, you could probably find somewhere to rent one.

I completely forgot about that part. Just look it up here on the forums, its been done plenty of times. The hardest part is collecting all the parts, everything else on the body is already outlined for you.
