Hey guys as some many know I just purchased the following

cmod grill, eyelids, stillen rear corners.

I drive a super black.

I recently dropped off the parts to have it painted.

I want to know if I got ripped off or not. At first the guy quoted 300 for paint + install. I laughed at his face and told I'll find some other place. Then he went down to 200.. I still denied saying he was trying to rip me off. At last he said $150 for paint + install.. I told him $100 for paint and that I would install it myself..and he accepted..

So my question is.... $100 win or lose? and around how much did you guys have to pay? Thanks in advance!

$100 seems like a good deal. I had my stillen front fascia painted with the grill being modified and installed for like $150 or $160 and everyone was saying how amazingly cheap it was. for the Cmod grill I think $50-$60 is good, then eyelids like $30-$40. that by itself is $80-$100 and then its like you got the corners painted for free. its a good deal.

I would say $100 PAINTED AND INSTALLED Would not be bad, but if you can just get the paint done for 100, none of those parts are difficult to install yourself

Jesus, out here in socal any reputable shop would charge you $150 just for a good paint job on the corners. If your getting all that for $100, go for it. My fascia cost me $400 each time to get it painted, rockers cost $250, and rear corners $150.

I didnt get screwed because of the paint shop, I got screwed because they matched the paint to the car and the rear bumper is a completely different shade than the rest of the car from the factory.....sooo.. the rear corners look off as hell because they match the car and not the rear bumper. No one really notices until I point it out though. I am too picky
