Hey guys, well i purchased my a/c 2.5 black on black, 6 speed, conviencence package for 4 down and 230 a month for 36 months. Now the dealership is looking to locate one within the tri state area. I was just curious what everyone paid for their altima coupes. Thanks for the help guys.

i got one identical to yours with a window sticker price of around $20K with about 5K miles on it from a nissan dealer in georgia. guy before me had it for like five months, he traded it in cause he couldn't fit a baby seat in the back. lucky for me- no depreciation hit!!

I bought mine last week. 3.5SE, CVT, VDC, Aluminum Kick Plates, $24,670. $400 below invoice.

Oh Yeah, that price includes bluetooth that the dealership installed for $200.

How much did you put down? Are you leasing or financing, if so what is the term? And what are your monthly payments?

I bought it for $24,670, tax and registration combined added about 8.2%, I had no trade, I then put $4000 down. @4.74% for 60 months my payment is $429.

With no Premium Pkg, no Tech Pkg, that's basically a stripped car... Do you have a Sunroof?

Didn't know they even had any 3.5's like that.

Interesting that yours has VDC...

Yeah, the only option I wanted was VDC, and the dealership already had the bluetooth installed, there are a few out there like it. I did have to search for it. MSRP was 26,955.

Moon roofs are standard on all 3.5SE's

I hate to admit it but I almost went with the Honda Coupe but the only way to get the V6 in that is to also get leather and upgraded stereo, which made it 2,500 more than the A/C.

if u are leasing an you put ANYTHING down...your doin it wrong...any money u put down is money lost up front and the dealers know it...thats why ull see deal like ...199 per month! read the fine print and ull see that at signing ull have to buck up about 5,000 !the money is the same its just broken differently...but you lose aany money u put down god forbid something happens to the car early in the lease...example..you put 2000 down and pay 250 a month.....your buddy puts 0 down and pays a tad over 300 a month (2000/36=55.56).....now you both pick up ur cars...he forks over first month and registration fees...you fork over....your deposit of 2000 plus the tax on your deposit of 2000, which here in nyc would be...167.5 plus first months payment and reg fees....(i am assuming you both put the taxes into your lease deals...if you pay this up front..you're really a dork).......now you go to a cool spot to show off you new rides....all of a sudden as you two are talking to some hotties standing on the street.....BAMMM a tractor trailer comes barreling outta nowhere....creaming both your cars....you guys are fine...your cars...totalled..

hey u got ins right???....yeah they will cover the cars!....but not the monies down!...your buddy is out 300 and some change.....you ...are out 2167.50 plus 250 plus regy fees!....

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING DOWN!!!!

have everthing rolled into the payment....including the taxes!...if you have the money to put down....stick it in a 3 or 6 month cd and get some interest on the mulla...what do you think the dealer is doing with your down payments??

Damn...I should've bought mine in the US. Up here in Canada we're getting raped!!! I just paid $28,000 for a black on black 2.5 (cloth interior, but it has the sunroof!). That price includes the tint, tax, and I even got $1500 off the sticker price!

...seriously should've bought in the States................

shift altima: why do you want to sell it?

grystorm: i was thinking the same thing about putting money down for a lease, you lose it all because insurance doesn't pay. BUT, what if you buy the car instead of lease it...is putting money down worth it then?

You guys, sure you can put $0 down on lease/purchase if you have good credit but this will only make your monthly payment higher and pay more interest. First you need to negotiate a price, then decide on the terms of the purchase/lease then you can add a down payment to lower your monthly payments and pay less interest. If you lease a car put $0 down or as little as possible, remember you will not own the car but will be renting the car so you will only pay interest on your monthly payments and not the purchase price. If you purchase a car you will pay interest and tax on the total sale of the car so by putting down a down payment you will lower your monthly payment and you will pay less interest at the end of the terms. As far as registration you will pay this on a lease or purchase so no reason to factor it in. Some people like leases......... this way their in a new car every 3-4 years and other would rather own the car and keep it.
