I never really thought about it before but it poped into my head the other day when I was thinking about the two engines.Would the RB26DETT or RB25DET parts be more expensive than the SR20DET parts?

Or would it just matter what part your buying?

I'm also aware that ofcourse the RB parts will be a bit more price but I mean in terms of great differences.

Also would it be any harder to get your hands on an RB part over an SR part?

yes RB parts are more expensive. The SR20 non turbo was available in the US, so you can get some of the parts locally which makes them cheaper. Also the SR20 has become a pretty common swap, so lots of people stock parts in the US for them.

No RB's in the US, so you are paying a premium to have them imported. As the swaps become more popular the parts will go down in price. Since I started on this forum, parts were hard to find for RB's, but Just look through the sponsors, and you can find them easily now.
