So I was visiting a good friend of mine last night, and parked up their driveway. His mom went out to pick his sister up from somewhere, and a minute later came back in the house. 'Andy, so sorry, I've just hit your car'
The back corner of her Tahoe hit my drivers door. I'm going to need a new one. Plus I want it doing quickly because the top of the door has bent out slightly and water from this non-stop rain we're having in the NE is getting in. I've moved it into my garage for now, but I need to drive this weekend and it's going to get wet and messy. Because they're such good friends, they're like family to me over here, we're trying to work out whether its best going through the insurance or not, or just giving me cash to have it replaced. However, I have a feeling its not going to be cheap. I had to have the two passenger side doors replaced on my Murano after someone drove into those 2 years ago, and that cost over $2000.
Unfortunately with it being Saturday, all the Infitini and Nissan recommended body shops around here that I've called are closed until Monday so I can't get any idea on rough prices. Has anybody had any body work done on their EX yet? Or infact any Infiniti? Do we know roughly what prices might be like? Any ideas are welcome.
Thankssss
Andy
